Classical Music for Little Ones: A Special Experience with Sejong Soloists
Early sensory experiences play a vital role in a child’s emotional development. Yet most classical concerts are designed for school-aged children and older, making it rare for infants and toddlers to enjoy live, high-quality classical music. Sejong Soloists created the baby concert Songs My Mother Taught Me to offer just that—a chance for little ones and their caregivers to experience beautiful music together in a welcoming, relaxed setting.
Premiered at the Hic et Nunc! Music Festival in 2023, the Baby Concert quickly became a favorite, selling out for two consecutive years and earning enthusiastic praise from families. It will return in 2025 with a refreshed program and even more thoughtful design. These performances are carefully curated to help children connect with music in a safe space where they’re free to move, listen, and explore—making their first encounter with classical music a joyful and memorable one.
