젊은 비르투오소 시리즈 데이비드 버넷 & 니나 버넷 듀오 한국 데뷔 리사이틀 9. 1 (화) 7:30 PM｜일신홀 2026년 젊은 비르투오소 시리즈는 한국인 어머니와 폴란드인 아버지 사이에서 태어난 남매, 바이올리니스트 데이비드 버넷과 더블베이시스트 니나 버넷의 듀오 리사이틀로 선보입니다. 데이비드 버넷은 포르모사 스트링 콰르텟 단원으로 활동하며 카네기홀, 케네디센터 등 주요 무대에서 연주해왔고, 니나 버넷은 에이버리 피셔 커리어 그랜트상 수상자로 현재 스토니브룩 대학교 교수로 재직 중입니다.
한국적 뿌리를 지닌 두 연주자가 함께하는 이번 무대는, 세계 무대에서 활동해 온 남매 연주자의 한국 첫 듀오 리사이틀이라는 점에서 더욱 특별한 의미를 지닙니다.

The 9th Hic et Nunc! Music Festival
The past and future of classical music converge Here and Now. Since 2017,
the world-class chamber orchestra Sejong Soloists has presented the ambitious Hic et Nunc! Festival,
returning for its ninth season with a dynamic and diverse program.
BVLGARI Presents Mahler by Sejong Soloists and Ian Bostridge 8. 26 (TUE) 7:30 PM | Seoul Arts Center, Concert Hall
Renowned tenor Ian Bostridge and Sejong Soloists reunite on stage for the first time in three years, since their 2023 Korean tour, to perform selections from Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy’s Magic Horn), as well as Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer) by Gustav Mahler. As an internationally acclaimed interpreter of Lieder, Ian Bostridge holds an unrivaled position in the classical music world with his profound musical insights rooted in literature and philosophy. His intellectual interpretations and nuanced emotional expression, combined with the refined ensemble of Sejong Soloists under the direction of Hankyeol Yoon, create a richly layered musical narrative that captivates audiences.  | |

Juilliard Faculty in the Spotlight 9. 2 (WED) 7:30 PM｜Seoul Arts Center, Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall Pianist Soyeon Kate Lee, the first Asian female faculty member in the piano department at The Juilliard School, gained international recognition as the first prize winner of the Naumburg and CAG International Competitions. Praised by The New York Times for her “richly varied sound,” she is a Naxos recording artist who has received critical acclaim from Gramophone and was awarded the Classical Recording Foundation’s Young Artist of the Year Award.
At the 2026 Hic et Nunc! Music Festival, she presents a Romantic program alongside a work by Paola Prestini that she introduced in its world premiere. Sponsored by Hyunok Kim, Sejong Soloists Board Member

Commemorative Concert for the 100th Anniversary of György Kurtág 8. 27 (THUR) 7:30 PM｜Platform-L Contemporary Art Center, Platform Live
Hungarian composer György Kurtág’s Kafka-Fragmente (Kafka Fragments), a representative work of the late 20th century, consists of 40 short movements set to texts from Franz Kafka's diaries and correspondence. An intimate duo of soprano and violin captures the natural rhythms of spoken language and the delicate inflections of emotion through a highly condensed musical language.
By presenting the work with visual artist Dávid Szauder’s AI-based media art under the direction of Karole Armitage, Sejong Soloists introduces a new approach to expanding the boundaries of music, literature, and performing arts.

Commemorative Concert for the 140th Anniversary of France–Korea Relations 8. 30 (SUN) 5 PM & 7:30 PM｜L’Escape Hotel, Event Hall
This commemorative concert for the 140th anniversary of Korea–France diplomatic relations takes the form of a salon concert, inspired by the salon scenes from Marcel Proust’s monumental work, In Search of Lost Time.
The concert brings the artistic and intellectual traditions of the French salon to the modern stage and offers an opportunity to reflect on the ties between France and Korea through the language of art.  | |
